Focus: Drone, Robotics, and Prototyping Research
Leading work in drone systems, robotics, and rapid prototyping, delivering practical solutions for real-world societal and industrial applications. Driving end-to-end development from concept to functional prototypes in a hands-on, innovation-focused environment.
Playing a key role in establishing a new phase of the Makerspace at IIT Bombay, an interdisciplinary research and innovation facility built from the ground up to support entrepreneurship and advanced product development. Contributing to planning, setup, and integration of core infrastructure and workflows.
The facility brings together:
Thematic Makerspaces : For transforming ideas into working prototypes across research areas such as heavy engineering, control systems, biotechnology, MEMS, chemistry, materials science, robotics, and drone technology
Design studios : Supporting for product design and system integration
Micro-factories : for scaling prototypes toward production.

Associated with: IEC Group. Incharge of Electronics Laboratory, DWLCL, MEMS, and IML.
- Electronics Laboratory: Supporting analog, digital, and mix-signal circuit design, testing, and analysis.
- DWLCL (Device and Wafer-Level Characterization Lab): Facilitating advanced semiconductor device evaluation using Semiconductor Parameter Analyzers, DC (IV, CV) & RF measurements, and Cascade 11000 Advanced Wafer Probers.
- MEMS Laboratory: Enabling development and testing of Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS), including fabrication, modeling, and reliability testing.

- Lifecycle Management: Procurement of new instruments, regular maintenance, calibration, and infrastructure modernization.
- Student Support: Assisting in the design/execution of lab experiments and guiding students on advanced instrumentation.
